A. I'm with those who told you not to take the old ones. First of all, they do lose their strenght and secondly, we don't really know what sort of reactions your body may have to the rest of the chemicals in them. Another suggestion was to ask a pharmacist, I second that, it won't hurt to see what they can help you with. It if was me, I wouldn't take them. Zurdita, before you start instulting people here, read what you post first, cause you seem more stupid than anything for assuming. Ignorance is not a virtue dear.

A. B12 might be a problem. From wiki: The Dietary Reference Intake for an adult ranges from 2 to 3 ueg (micrograms) per day. Vitamin B-12 is believed to be safe when used orally in amounts that do not exceed the recommended dietary allowance (RDA). The RDA for vitamin B-12 in pregnant women is 2.6 ueg per day and 2.8 ueg during lactation periods. There is insufficient reliable information available about the safety of consuming greater amounts of Vitamin B-12 during pregnancy. Your prenatal vitamin has 100 micrograms of B12. You may want to do some research of your own into this, to see if this is something you want to try.

A. Welcome to vegetarianism =) Reading labels at times can be tricky especially if they are not clear and contain words/ingredients you never heard of! Most protein bars shouldn't contain meat, and should be *okay* for vegetarians. Whey is the liquid remaining after milk has been curdled and strained. Collagen is the main protein of connective tissue in animals. Whole Milk Powder, as well as Milk Fat both come from a cow. Calcium Carbonate mostly comes from rock, but may come from shells of marine organisms, snails, and eggshells. This bar is loaded with animal products, and is definitely not vegan friendly. That bar seems vegetarian. For vegan bars you may check out your local natural food store and ask or if there is a Whole Foods or… [cont.]

Could the ingredients in this be the cause of my improved mood?
Q. Hey, Iv been taking this vitamin supplement for 3 weeks now and recently have noticed an improved mood. I was taking a multi vitamin and b-complx before. Could the ingredents in this have improved my mood as I know there are amino acids and herbs in this that can do this i think? the ingredients are at the end of this question. On the other hand I have hypothyroidism and have been increasing my medication recently too, so maybe the improved mood is from this? Also, My vitamin D was a bit low in a test and I have also been taking 2000IU vitamin D3 for the past 3 weeks. For the past few years I have felt quite depressed and unsociable because of this but recently have felt much more sociable and out going, but really don't know if it's… [cont.]

A. Sure! Ashwagandha is Indian Ginseng, which helps with stress and immune system. Eleuthero Root is Siberian Ginseng, which helps with energy and stress. Maca is good for sexual health and some aspects of Testosterone. Those alone could easily improve (or at least minimize) a bad mood, plus there are several nutrients in there that can help with energy and/or good overall health... when you feel healthier, you tend to feel better. I hope I helped!

38 fair-skinned male w/ zits that will not go away,no history of skin problems,no changes to diet o lifestyle?
Q. Shortly after the turn of the new year, I honestly went to bed with perfectly fine skin, I woke the next morning with ~ 10 zits on my face. The next morning, I woke with an ~ 10 more. The next I woke with an additional ~10 more. I immediately tried treating them with OTC things. I do not recall the order, but I tried the AcneFree system, Clean-andClear "Morning Burst" "Oxygenating" Scrub, a Murad Adult Acne system, something called Trioxil and as my skin got more sensitive and less responsive, I tried an Olay blemish control product with only 0.5% Salicyclic Acid. I read on webmd about adult acne and saw the recommendation for alpha hydroxy acids, which the Olay and Murad products already had in them, but this lead me to try stronger… [cont.]

A. no. they will not. vitamin e topically helps diminish the appearance of deep scars but used on the face it can make acne worse. you need to exfoliate and see a dermatologist for either retin a (retin a micro if you have sensitive skin) or duac. i prefer duac cause it doesn't make you sun sensitive and helps lighten acne scars while gently making your skin peel them off. where as retin a or other trentonoids drastically make you peel which can cause redness and dry itchy skin.
